Hello hello, Hope your Tuesday is going well! It’s the time of year where, when not scrambling into or out of holiday plans, we start to reflect on the year and make goals for next year. I have a few goals for next year; one of them is to transition from selling in person to selling online. It is almost 2026, after all, and in the future Bezos and his henchmen will keep us strapped to Barcaloungers and we’ll only be able to online shop. So, as a first step, I created this online shop (also linked below). I will only be listing a few pieces on there at a time that I think are ready to sell. If you would like to purchase a piece for yourself or as a gift, your support means the world. If you would like to arrange a drop-off in Atlanta (my base) or in Boston (I’ll be in Boston Dec 16-18, 22-26), shoot me a text at 617-699-3170! Online shop link: https://gray-eye-ceramics.bigcartel.com/ Check out the pieces before you forget! Observant folks may notice the shop is called Gray-eye Ceramics instead of LIL Pottery – I am leaning toward a name change because LIL Pottery feels a little juvenile, honestly… Gray-eye Ceramics came to me, and I like how it alludes to Athena, the goddess of wisdom and crafts (weaving, pottery, and handicrafts). For the rest of 2025 and the winter months of 2026, I want to learn about story-telling… get deeper into my history-learning bag… read and write a lot, teach lessons on the wheel, and make sculptures with lots of intention and story behind them... all leading toward my world-domination plan of building community through pottery. So, stay tuned for more work in 2026, with deeper intention and story behind it, to be discussed in this newsletter! Grateful for you all, happy holidays! ☃️ P.S. Was I the only one who thought it was a Barker Lounger, not a Barcalounger? 🐶🐾 Best, Liliana |
This newsletter is for people who are open to utilizing spiritual concepts and knowledge to live their most creative and fulfilling lives. I share everything and don't hold back, writing from the perspective of a full-time ceramic artist and person getting better every day.
Hello! Welcome to the March edition of the LIL newsletter. First off, my first three sculptures of the year are done: Stay tuned on my instagram to see videos of what happened when I put a candle in each of them! Second off, speaking of Instagram, I completed a challenge where I posted every day for a month on my Instagram @lilpotteryy. It was honestly not that hard––but 30,000 people started and only a few hundred finished. I wish a few hundred less finished, because we all split a prize...
Hello loved ones and kind strangers! 💖 So, a few updates and thoughts: 1. I have art in my first exhibition in Atlanta! It is at the Avondale Arts Alliance. Here is a picture from the opening night: My pieces will be there until the Closing Reception: February 21, 6PM-9PM. Here is a link to all the pieces in the show! 2. I have art in another show happening this Friday, a Valentine’s-themed show, so I’m really excited to check out the whole swanky exhibition then! Here is a link to the show....
Hello friends and citizens of LIL republic! It has been like a month since my last newsletter, and for that I apologize – I did a lot of resting (and getting the flu) and traveling over the holidays, but now I am back in the pocket. So, updates: LOOK AT WHAT IM WORKING ON: She is the prototype/the first in a series of pieces that I throw on the wheel as a closed form, in the shape of a matryoshka/Russian nesting doll, then I sculpt with this phrase in mind: “She is creating the landscape of...
